AFRO AM 190 — Black Women in the African Diaspora
This course is a survey of the experiences and contributions made by women of African descent in Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas. This course interrogates the concept of power and the intersections of race, class, culture, and gender. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
