AUTOTEC 214 — Transmission Transaxle & Driveline

This course provides the fundamentals of automatic transmissions and transaxles. Its purpose is to prepare students for the more in-depth operation and diagnosis of automatic transmissions and transaxles. It also is designed to provide automotive technology students with adequate instruction and hands-on experiences required by auto service centers and repair shops that perform automotive repairs. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. This course prepares students for the ASE certification exam.
