Discusses sexually transmitted diseases, gynecological problems, breast cancer, controversial treatments and health care. Examines sociological and cultural health factors that influence a womans nutrition, physical activity, use of cosmetics, use and abuse of drugs. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
