BIOTECH 211 — Laboratory Math for Biotechnology

This course introduces mathematical tools that are used in the biotechnology laboratory. Students apply mathematical concepts to solve problems such as calculating quantities of chemicals required to make solutions, graphing and interpreting data, and calibrating instruments. Basic statistical and algebraic concepts are covered. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
