CIS 275 — Advanced Data Science
This course is the second Data Science course establishing a foundation of knowledge and skill in the subject and exploring practical considerations in data analysis. A strong background in probability and statistical methodology will be established. Advanced topics on data privacy and ethics, responsibility with data, security, encryption, and machine learning will be covered. This course will emphasize the application of concepts to address real problems in society. Computations will be done using programming languages, applications, and web-based interactive computing tools.
