DENTHYG 233 — Expanded Functions
The study of local anesthesia administration in dental procedures including the pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, patient management and emergency procedures associated with local anesthetic administration. Conscious sedation agents commonly used in the dental setting will also be discussed. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline are part of the course.
