Introduction to ethical and regulatory principles and Illinois law as it pertains to dental hygiene practice. Emphasis is placed on problem solving through the ethical decision making process. Reinforcement of professional behaviors with patients, colleagues, and the community. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
