FS ESL 4004 — English Academic Purposes IV
This is the fourth of six courses designed for non-native speakers of English who are preparing to enter college. This course focuses on oral language development, skills for reading college textbooks, skills for writing about subject area content, interpreting graphically presented information, locating and using information, and using the college library and resource center. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
