PARALEG 150 — Legal Research and Writing I
This course provides an overview of the fundamentals of legal research and writing. It covers the use of primary and secondary source materials to research legal questions. It examines different types of legal documents and provides training in legal analysis. The course also includes principles and techniques of legal writing and their application to legal correspondence and documents as well as the role of the paralegal in legal research and writing. This is a writing intensive course. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
