POL SCI 215 — Politics Of Community Organization
Analysis of voting trends; discussion with community spokesmen and politicians; class participation in community politics such as voter registration and political education; how Chicago is governed; role of Republican and Democratic parties and independents. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
