SOC 211 — Race & Ethnic Relations
A comparative analysis of racial, religious and ethnic groups. The course examines how group identity is formed and it is maintained or persists. It includes how group identity affects inter-group relations, social movements, government policy and related social problems. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
