SPANISH 192 — Spanish for Law Enforcement

“Spanish for Law Enforcement Officers” is designed to prepare non-Spanish-speaking police officers to use Spanish language skills and cross-cultural strategies to enhance their ability to aid victims and control offenders in potentially dangerous situations involving native Spanish speakers. Note: This course is NOT a substitute for any criminal justice course. It is strictly to enhance learned knowledge of policing protocols. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
