THR ART 240 — Play Production
A literary exploration of the relationships between dramatic text and the play in performance, with special emphasis on basic terminology and methodology. Representative plays are studied in their genre using historical and social contexts. Creation of a collaborative production, including performance and directing. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
