Organic chemistry: hydrocarbons (saturated and unsaturated), alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, and carbohydrates. Principles, procedures, quality assurance, and clinical significance of quantitative chemical analysis of body fluids, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, electrolytes, endogenous toxic substances, blood gases, pH, enzymes, vitamins, hormones, and exogenous toxic substances.

Prerequisites: CHM 1150, MLT 1120, MLT 1125, MLT 1160, MLT 1165
