Introduction to Animal Science Lecture & Lab – 4 Credits This course is designed to provide an introduction to nutri - ents and their function in livestock animals. Basic feed iden- tification, evaluation, and diet formulation will be discussed. The anatomy of the digestive tract of animals and their ability to utilize feedstuffs is presented.
