Portraiture – 3 Credits The examination of the portrait in drawing and painting, emphasizing development of personal skills in depicting likeness and personality. Various artistic media are used to explore the anatomy of the human head and face and its power to express emotion. The role of the portrait throughout history is examined together with development of skills.
