Introduction to Education – 3 Credits Introduction to the historical, philosophical, sociological foundations of education, current trends, and issues in education; especially as it relates to a multicultural envi - ronment. Students will use those foundations to develop effective strategies related to problems, issues and respon - sibilities in the field of education. *Note: ALP candidates must follow the program course sequence.
