American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid & CPR/AED - 2 Credits A video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in t h i s c o u r s e i n c l u d e fi r s t a i d ; c h o k i n g r e l i e f i n a d u l t s , c h i l- dren, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. Upon successful completion of the course, students will become eligible for AHA Heart - saver® First Aid & CPR/AED certification.
