PTA 120 — PTA 120
Exercise and Mobility – 4 Credits Prerequisites: Admissions into the Physical Therapist Assistant program and concurrent enrollment in PTA 100, PTA 110, and PTA 120 courses. This course will integrate didactic instruction with skill performance to introduce students to therapeutic inter - ventions aimed at improving functional mobility including patient preparation, wheelchair management, bed mobility, and transfers. The exercise module will introduce students to exercise physiology and the performance of various exer- cises commonly seen in the rehabilitation setting.
