Basic Algebra II – 4 Credits Prerequisite: 1. A grade of “C” or higher in TRST 0930 within the last two years OR 2. A satisfactory score on the Math Placement Test taken in the last year This developmental course covers rules of exponents including negative exponents, basic operations with polynomials and factoring methods including sum & difference of two cubes; basic operations with rational and radical expressions; solving equations involving rationals and radicals; solving and graphing quadratic equations; solving equations with quadratic formula; problem solving with quadratic equations.
