Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEOG) The TEOG is a need-based grant available to Texas residents enrolled at least half- time in an a ssociate degree or c ertificate program who have not accumulated 45 or more semester hours and have not been convicted of a felony or a crime involving a controlled substance.
