Associate Degree Nursing Transition
Upon acceptance into the program, students will be awarded 17 hours of college credit, satisfying the first semester requirements. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which is required for practice as a registered nurse. Employment opportunities include a wide variety of health care settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, and physician’s offices. Coastal Carolina Community College offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree.
