CHEM 111 — General Chemistry I *
A thorough study of the fundamentals and principles of chemistry. This course is designed for students majoring in chemistry, pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, engineering, or science. The lecture and laboratory will cover inorganic reactions, atomic structure, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, solutions, chemical bonding, and the states of matter. Students who enroll in this course are expected to have prior chemistry experience in either high school chemistry or (Introduction to Chemistry) or its equivalent.
