CISG 101 — Photoshop I

3 credits · 3 hours

Students will be introduced to pixel-based image editing. They will learn to open, manipulate, and save graphic files. Each student will repair/restore a damaged photo, render a realistic photo composite, and create a fantasy/artistic photo composite. The course will cover making selections, photo retouching, correcting and enhancing digital photographs, layer basics, masks and channels, typographic design, and preparing files for the Web.
