ENGL 277 — Survey of American Literature I
This course is a study of American literature from its beginnings to the American Civil War, and is an examination of major authors and literary works in historical perspective, with emphasis in literary and cultural backgrounds. This course emphasizes analysis of literary works and is reading & writing intensive.
Prerequisites: ENGL 102
