HEAT 103 — Intro to Heavy Equipment Basic Systems
Continuing all safety and policy requirements from previous courses, this course introduces the fundamentals of electrical theory concepts and basic electrical system formulas. Students will also learn the fundamentals of heating, ventilation and A/C and other basic systems used in heavy equipment. This course will also teach the use of special testing equipment, schematics, parts lookup, and troubleshooting procedures as well as component tear down and rebuilding. Computer and electronic control systems will also be included.
