MATH 257 — Math for Elementary Teachers II
This is the second course in the Math for Elementary Teachers sequence. This course covers algebraic thinking, expressions, equations, functions, measurement, statistics, probability, and geometry. Students will explore the connections between these concepts to understand the âwhyâ behind the mathematics. Students will also learn to communicate mathematical ideas clearly and will strengthen pedagogical practices to be an effective mathematics teacher.
