NURP 105 — Health Assessment *
This course introduces fundamental health assessment skills for practical nurses. Students develop proficiency in collecting health histories, performing systematic physical assessments, and recognizing normal versus abnormal findings across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on patient-centered communication, cultural sensitivity, accurate documentation, and the application of clinical judgment to guide safe, effective nursing care.
Prerequisites: BIOL 105, ENGL 101, MATH 123, NURP 103, PSYC 101
