NURP 123 — Women's Health and the Practical Nurse

This course examines nursing care of women throughout the lifespan, with emphasis on maternal-newborn populations. Students provide safe, culturally sensitive care and apply evidence-based practice to reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Family-centered care and interprofessional collaboration are emphasized to promote healthy outcomes for women and infants.
