NURP 140 — Mental Health Nursing for Practical Nurses
This course explores mental health and illness across the lifespan. Students apply therapeutic communication techniques, recognize cues associated with common mental health disorders, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and well-being. Ethical practice, stigma reduction, and the nurseâs role in fostering mental health are emphasized.
