NURP 204 — Leadership & Transition to Practice
This hybrid capstone course integrates leadership principles, informatics, and professional role development as the practical nurse transitions into clinical practice. Students explore delegation, supervision, communication, time management, and quality improvement within the scope of the PN. Emphasis is placed on the use of health informatics and electronic health records to support safe, effective care. Students refine their clinical judgment and decision-making skills through simulation and clinical application, preparing for successful entry into practice and the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.
