NURR 115 — Adult Health I: Medical-Surgical Nursing
Introduces the care of adults experiencing common medical and surgical conditions across body systems. Emphasizes foundational nursing interventions, clinical prioritization, patient education, and the delivery of safe, evidence-based care within an interprofessional healthcare team. Simulation and clinical experiences support the development of clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills in realistic patient care scenarios. Students apply the nursing process to promote health, manage illness, and enhance recovery in diverse adult populations.
