NURR 222 — Adult Health II: Complex & Critical Care

Focuses on the nursing care of adults with complex, multisystem conditions in high-acuity and emergency settings. Emphasizes rapid clinical judgment, prioritization, and evidence-based interventions to manage critical changes in patient status. Students develop skills in delegation, teamwork, and the use of technology in intensive and emergent care environments. Simulation and clinical experiences challenge students to apply advanced nursing concepts in time-sensitive, interdisciplinary scenarios to promote safety and optimize outcomes.

Prerequisites: ENGL 102, HUMA GE1, NURR 218, NURR 219, NURR 220
