WELD 268 — GTAW Welding and Qualification
This course has two primary functions. The first is to provide students the opportunity to perfect their GTAW skills to successfully complete an AWS Welding Qualification test. The second function is project construction that teaches students how to apply the GTAW skills and theory learned from previous courses in the construction of a comprehensive project. Students will utilize blueprint skills to develop an original design of the project and GTAW skills for project completion. Students will continue training in metallurgy, metal identification, and AWS Codes and Standards.
