AMET 231 — Industrial Robotics (5 Credits, Fall/Spring)

Introduces the fundamentals of industrial robot safety, operation, and basic programming. Students learn risk analysis, robot coordinate systems, and operator pendant functions while gaining hands-on experience in lecture-lab settings. The course culminates in a functional robot production demonstration, preparing students for entry-level employment as industrial robot system operators.
