Accompanies CHEM 100 . Basic concepts include structure, properties of matter, chemical changes, chemical conversions, chemical bonding, acid-base chemistry, and interactions of matter and energy. Chemistry concepts are learned through experiments that can be done in a kitchen with household products. This course is intended for non-science students; very limited math skills are necessary.
