CSSA 150 — Server Administration (6 Credits, Spring)
Covers deployment, configuration, and management of both Windows and Linux servers in enterprise environments. Students learn to install, secure, and maintain servers; manage users and groups; configure core network services such as DHCP and DNS; and implement file sharing across multiple platforms. Emphasis is placed on using administrative tools to monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliable server and client operations within a basic network infrastructure. PREREQ: CSSA 141 , CSSA 143 , CSSA 145 (with a grade of C or higher), and CSSA 147 . COREQ: CSSA 160 . (3 lecture hours, 6 lab hours, 6 credits)
