Provides fundamental knowledge of the materials commonly used in a dental practice including their physical, chemical, and manipulative characteristics. The laboratory portion ( DENT 115L ) offers experience in the use and application of different types of instruments, equipment, and materials used in dentistry. PREREQ: Dental Assisting major.
