DENT 102 — Dental Clinical Skills I (2 Credits, Fall)
Introduces clinical skills training in four-handed dentistry concepts. Covers components of preventive dentistry as well as dental assisting duties and responsibilities. The laboratory portion ( DENT 115L ) gives students experience in patient care, chairside procedures, aseptic techniques, and preventative dentistry. PREREQ: Dental Assisting major. PRE/COREQ: DENT 100 , DENT 107 , DENT 107L , DENT 108 , DENT 115L , DENT 151 , and DENT 152 . (2 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 2 credits)
