ENGL 201 — Persuasive Writing (3 Credits, Fall/Spring)

In this course, students develop persuasive composition skills beyond the freshman level. Emphasis is placed on developing voice, clarifying audience, research-based writing, and evaluating rhetorical choices and logic of texts. Students will inquire, think, and communicate through extensive composing, reflecting, revising, and reading. PREREQ: ENGL 102 or equivalent placement score. (3 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 3 credits)
