ENGR 175 — Geomatics and Geospatial Data (3 Credits, Fall/Spring)

This course introduces plane surveying systems, including control points, coordinate systems, distances, angles, areas, volumes, and leveling. Other topics include an introduction to GPS, photogrammetry, LiDAR, remote sensing, and practical fieldwork using these and other modern mapping and surveying tools. PREREQ: MATH 143 and MATH 144 , or MATH 147 . (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours, 3 credits)
