ENGR 205 — Engineering Graphics (2 Credits, Fall/Spring)

This course introduces students to engineering design techniques and the standard practice of technical graphics, including freehand and computer-aided drawing in multiple projections and views. Topics covered include descriptive geometry, scales, dimensioning, and measurements and their use in engineering drawings. Also includes major concepts and frequently used commands in SolidWorks CAD software required to advance from a novice to an intermediate-level user. PREREQ: Completion of MATH 147 (or MATH 143 and MATH 144 ) or placement into MATH 170 . (1 lecture hours, 2 lab hours, 2 credits)
