MATH 153P — Statistical Reasoning (3 Credits, Fall/Spring/Summer)
This course trains students to think critically as a consumer of scientific and statistical information. Topics include descriptive statistics, data collection, introduction to probability, normal distribution, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing. Correlation and regression are also introduced. PREREQ: Satisfactory placement score (see Math Placement chart in the CWI catalog). COREQ: MATH 152 .
