Basic concepts, principles, and theories of nursing practice with an emphasis on the five components of the nursing process. Includes fundamentals of physical assessment, patient safety, communication, clinical reasoning, patient advocacy, and ethical and legal considerations, as well as cultural diversity in nursing practice.
