SOC 120 — Global Issues (3 Credits, Fall/Spring)
This course examines social issues from a global perspective. Students explore the connections between the conditions of their everyday lives and global social, political, cultural, and economic issues such as population, poverty, foreign aid, environment, religion, conflict, terrorism, and more. (This CWI course meets Idaho State Board of Education GEM competency requirements for GEM 6 - Social and Behavioral Ways of Knowing OR the CWI Global Perspectives requirement.
