SOCW 290 — Social Work Capstone (3 Credits, Fall/Spring)
This capstone course provides students with an opportunity to integrate and apply knowledge and skills developed throughout the Social Work program. Students engage in an individualized capstone experience focused on analyzing a professional interest area using social work values, theory, ethics, and practice skills. Emphasis is placed on ethical reasoning, cultural humility, professional communication, and readiness for transfer to a baccalaureate social work program. This course is intended to be completed in the student's final semester. PREREQ: SOCW 202 . (3 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 3 credits)
