SPAN 102 — Elementary Spanish II (4 Credits, Fall/Spring)

This course is a continuation of SPAN 101 , with increasing emphasis on the student's ability to use the language in authentic situations through a broadened foundation in vocabulary and grammar. The focus will continue in the four skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing as well a deeper appreciation of Hispanic culture. PREREQ: SPAN 101 , SPAN 111 , or PERM/INST. (This CWI course meets Idaho State Board of Education GEM competency requirements for GEM 5 - Humanistic and Artistic Ways of Knowing OR the CWI Global Perspectives requirement. [It will not fulfill both requirements.]) . (4 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 4 credits)
