TTEC 241 — Truck Dealership Practices (12 Credits, Spring)
This course provides practical application of essential skills required for entry-level work in a truck dealership. Projects will be assigned by an instructor for each individual student and may take place within an industry or lab setting. Students may perform tasks on many different levels and a wide variety of subjects such as, but not limited to, the following areas: preventive maintenance, brakes, steering and suspension, alignment, electrical, electronics, emissions, engine repair, fabrication, transmission, clutch, differentials, engine performance, and heating and air conditioning. As an added benefit, students will receive OEM credentials from PACCAR and Freightliner. PREREQ: TTEC 231 . (4 lecture hours, 24 lab hours, 12 credits)
