AGRO 1113 — Land, Life, and the Environment
Provides information about soils at local, regional, national, and global scales as well as basic soil properties and how they are influenced by human activity. Discussion topics include soil’s importance to world food security and human health, agricultural production, environmental quality, and sustainable ecosystems. Students will gain practical knowledge of sustainable soil management in support of the production and ecological regulator functions of the soils.
