COMS 2213 — Network Fundamentals

This course is an introduction in the network curriculum providing the basis of computer networking fundamentals. Concepts covered include network addressing, network services of connectivity, networking in the enterprise, network infrastructure exploration, switching in an enterprise network, routing with a distance vector protocol and/or a link-state protocol, filtering traffic using access control lists, plus communication protocols and standards.
